Bronwyn Kellaway
Director of Education
Bronwyn spent twelve years helping families navigate financial stress before realizing that most people just needed someone to explain the basics without judgment. She's turned that insight into programs that actually work for real households with real constraints.
What We Actually Do
We run workshops and online programs that teach budgeting from the ground up. Not theory—practical stuff like how to track spending when you've got three different bank accounts, or how to plan for irregular income.
Our students include everyone from uni students managing their first rental bond to families trying to save for a house deposit while dealing with childcare costs.
The feedback we hear most often? "I wish I'd learned this ten years ago." That's exactly why we do this.
No Shame, No Blame
Financial literacy isn't taught in most schools. If you're struggling with budgeting, it's not a personal failing. We start from wherever you are and build from there.
Real Numbers
We use examples based on actual Australian living costs. No vague percentages or theoretical scenarios. Just the real challenges people face when rent is due and the car needs repairs.
Flexible Learning
Our programs run throughout the year with options for evening and weekend sessions. Can't make it? Everything's available online so you can learn at your own pace.
How Our Programs Work
We've refined our teaching approach over seven years and hundreds of students. Here's what you can expect when you join.
Foundation Skills First
Before we talk about savings strategies or investment, we make sure everyone understands income tracking, expense categorization, and basic cash flow management. These fundamentals matter more than any fancy technique.
Practice With Your Own Finances
You'll work with your actual bank statements and bills during the program. Not hypothetical exercises—your real financial situation. That's how you build confidence and spot problems early.
Ongoing Support After Completion
The program might end in three months, but you'll have access to our resource library and quarterly check-in sessions for a full year. Financial situations change, and we're here when questions come up.

Why Tasmania?
We're based in Launceston because this community needed accessible financial education. While most finance courses target capital city professionals, we focus on regional Australians dealing with different cost structures and job markets.
That said, our online programs serve students across Australia. The principles of good budgeting work everywhere, even if the dollar amounts change.

Our Next Programs Start September 2025
We're currently enrolling for autumn programs beginning in September. Classes fill up quickly, so if you're interested, get in touch soon.
Not sure if it's right for you? Give us a call. We'll have an honest conversation about whether our approach fits what you need.
